WickedTrades Prohibited Items Policy

Effective date: August 26, 2026

WickedTrades is intended to provide a safe and lawful local marketplace.

Users may not list, offer, request, advertise, buy, sell, or facilitate transactions involving items or services prohibited by this policy, applicable law, or other WickedTrades policies.

This policy is not an exhaustive statement of Canadian law. Sellers are responsible for ensuring that their listings and transactions comply with all applicable federal, provincial, territorial, and municipal requirements.

1. Weapons and Explosives

WickedTrades does not permit listings for weapons or weapon-related goods, including:

• Firearms
• Ammunition
• Firearm receivers, frames, or essential firearm parts
• Prohibited or restricted weapons
• Silencers or suppressors
• Explosives
• Bombs, grenades, or explosive devices
• Improvised weapon components
• Tasers, stun weapons, or similar regulated weapons
• Other items whose primary purpose is causing serious bodily harm

2. Illegal Drugs and Controlled Substances

WickedTrades does not permit listings involving illegal drugs, controlled substances, or related goods, including:

• Illegal narcotics
• Controlled drugs sold without lawful authorization
• Illicit cannabis products
• Drug-manufacturing materials intended for unlawful use
• Drug paraphernalia primarily intended for unlawful drug use

3. Prescription and Regulated Health Products

Users may not sell prescription medication or health products where sale through WickedTrades would violate applicable health, pharmacy, medical-device, or other regulatory requirements.

This includes unauthorized, counterfeit, recalled, or unlawfully distributed:

• Prescription medications
• Controlled medications
• Medical devices
• Natural health products
• Products making unlawful medical or health claims

4. Unsafe, Recalled, or Prohibited Consumer Products

Products that have been recalled, banned, prohibited, or determined to pose an unacceptable health or safety risk may not be listed.

Sellers are responsible for checking whether an item has been recalled or is prohibited from sale before listing it.

Examples may include certain unsafe children's products, hazardous household products, unsafe electrical products, or other products prohibited under Canadian consumer product safety requirements.

5. Stolen Property

Stolen property is strictly prohibited.

You must have the legal right to possess and sell every item you list on WickedTrades.

WickedTrades may remove a listing or restrict an account where there is reasonable concern that property may be stolen.

6. Counterfeit and Infringing Goods

Counterfeit, pirated, or unlawfully reproduced goods are prohibited.

Examples include:

• Fake branded merchandise
• Counterfeit luxury goods
• Pirated movies, software, music, or games
• Unauthorized copies of copyrighted works
• Products bearing trademarks without authorization

7. Alcohol, Tobacco, Nicotine, and Vaping Products

WickedTrades does not permit listings for:

• Alcoholic beverages
• Tobacco products
• Cigarettes or cigars
• Nicotine products
• Vapes or vaping liquids
• Other age-restricted nicotine products

8. Hazardous Materials

WickedTrades may prohibit hazardous materials that create unreasonable risks during storage, transport, pickup, or use.

Examples include:

• Highly toxic chemicals
• Radioactive materials
• Dangerous industrial chemicals
• Explosive precursors intended for unlawful use
• Improperly stored or unidentified hazardous substances

9. Human Remains and Biological Materials

Human remains, human organs, human tissue, blood, or other regulated human biological materials may not be listed.

10. Animals and Wildlife

WickedTrades may prohibit the sale of live animals, protected wildlife, wildlife products, endangered species, or animal products whose sale is unlawful or regulated.

Users must comply with all applicable animal welfare, wildlife, conservation, and licensing requirements.

11. Government Documents, Identification, and Credentials

Users may not sell or request government-issued identification or credentials where possession or transfer is unlawful.

Examples include:

• Passports
• Driver's licences
• Government identity cards
• Forged certificates
• Stolen credentials

12. Financial and Payment Instruments

WickedTrades does not permit listings involving stolen, fraudulent, or unauthorized financial instruments or account access.

This includes:

• Stolen credit or debit cards
• Bank account credentials
• Compromised payment accounts
• Counterfeit currency
• Fraudulent cheques or payment instruments

13. Personal Information and Account Access

Users may not sell, purchase, or distribute another person's confidential or personal information.

Listings for passwords, account credentials, hacked accounts, stolen databases, or unauthorized access to online services are prohibited.

14. Illegal or Fraudulent Services

WickedTrades may remove listings offering services that facilitate illegal, deceptive, fraudulent, or harmful conduct.

This includes services involving:

• Fraud or identity theft
• Hacking or unauthorized system access
• Forged documents
• Money laundering
• Circumvention of lawful security controls

15. Sexually Exploitative or Illegal Content

WickedTrades does not permit listings, content, or transactions involving illegal sexual content, exploitation, trafficking, or abuse.

Any content involving the sexual exploitation of minors is strictly prohibited and may be reported to appropriate authorities as required or permitted by law.

16. Hate, Extremist, or Terrorist Material

WickedTrades may prohibit goods or content intended to materially support, recruit for, fund, or promote violent extremist or terrorist organizations or unlawful hateful activity.

17. Event Tickets, Gift Cards, and Other Restricted Goods

WickedTrades may restrict or prohibit categories with elevated fraud, resale, or regulatory risk, including certain tickets, gift cards, licences, permits, memberships, digital goods, or transferable credentials.

18. Items Subject to Special Laws

Some products may be legal in general but subject to licensing, age restrictions, safety standards, disclosure obligations, transport requirements, or other legal restrictions.

WickedTrades may prohibit or restrict these products even where some forms of lawful sale may otherwise be possible.

19. Reporting a Prohibited Listing

If you believe a listing violates this policy, use the WickedTrades reporting tools available on the listing or seller profile.

Reports may be reviewed by WickedTrades moderators.

20. Enforcement

WickedTrades may take action where a listing, user, or transaction appears to violate this policy.

Actions may include:

• Removing or hiding a listing
• Requesting additional information
• Issuing a warning
• Restricting marketplace features
• Suspending an account
• Terminating an account
• Preserving relevant records where reasonably necessary
• Cooperating with lawful requests from authorities

21. Changes to This Policy

WickedTrades may update this policy as laws, marketplace risks, products, and platform features change.

The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
